Amazing picture shows cargo ship docking with International Space Station high above the Pacific Ocean


An amazing photograph shared by an American astronaut shows a cargo ship preparing to dock with the International Space Station 240 miles above the Pacific Ocean.
The Automated Transfer Vehicle Three, launched March 23 by the European Space Agency, is lit with its state-of-the-art laser guidance system, showing off the craft's distinctive x-wing solar panels as it glides toward the space station with earth in the background.
The vehicle (also called ATV-3) brought with it 13 tons of supplies - water, oxygen, food, clothing, new science experiments and fuel.
