Large Wooden Sculpture Explores Emotional State of Fear

In this piece entitled Fear Expanded, by artist Ryan Everson, the idea of fear seems to vanish into a soothing and peaceful landscape. According to the American artist's bio, "[His] work is unlimited by materials and processes, and examines emotional states, fame, fear of the unknown, sincerity and inward reflection." To explore the emotional state of being afraid, Everson used wood and mirrors to build the actual word as a dominating force with which to be reckoned.
