Trekking the Himalayas – Beas Kund

Stretching in a 2500km-long arc across Asia from Kashmir to Kathmandu, Lhasa to Ladakh, the sprawling Indian Himalayas mountain range (and the treks that it offers) are in high demand for travellers seeking a both gorgeous scenery and a little adventure. Beautiful forested gorges rise to skylines of snow-capped glaciated peaks and yak and red panda filled landscapes. Although 40 million people call the magnificent range home, you’re more likely to find culturally colourful collection of communities rather than fields of alpine meadows.
